Getting Started

Viola is the smallest off-the-shelf carrier board and is compatible with the entire Colibri product family. Carefully selected features packed in a small form factor makes the Viola carrier board suitable for a wide range of embedded applications. The Viola carrier board is an ideal choice to create low cost embedded solutions. Viola carrier board is designed keeping production environment in mind. For evaluation and development purpose, customers are advised to use Colibri Evaluation Board or Iris Carrier Board.

The Viola V1.2 carrier board will be available in two assembly variants:

  • Viola
  • Viola Plus

Viola is not the best option for development. We recommend that you buy, in addition to Viola, another carrier board for your development team, and use Viola in production.

This section contains initial information needed to set-up the Viola Carrier Board for the first time.
