Getting Started

The Verdin iMX8M Plus Mezzanine is an add-on board for the Verdin Development Board that provides access to and allows the evaluation of the “Module-specific" interfaces and features of the Verdin iMX8M Plus SoM.

Please refer to the datasheet of the Verdin iMX8M Plus SoM for more information on “Module-specific" interfaces and features.

Please note, that the following interfaces/features of the product are not yet supported in software:

• 1x Low-speed Extension Header

• 1x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A Host Connector (downstream for external peripherals)

• 1x USB 2.0 Type-C Client Connector (upstream for internal connection to the USB 2.0 OTG port of the Verdin Development Board)

• HDMI eARC

Recommendation for a first-time order

The Verdin iMX8M Plus Mezzanine should be added to the order if you are planning to order the following composition of components:

• Verdin iMX8M Plus module
• Verdin Development Board V1.1B or newer

Product Number (PID8) Format

The format of the 8-digits Product Number (PID8) is the following:

The below table describes the structure of the Product Number (PID8):

Field	Description
PPPP	4-digits number, indicating the Product Configuration (PID4) that describes the key properties of the product (e.g. Product Group, RAM capacity, etc.)
VV	2-digits number, indicating the Major and Minor Version (in that order)
AA	2-digits number, indicating the Assembly Variant
