Introduction
On this page you will find the images from Toradex and our partners, for offline installation using the Toradex Easy Installer. It is useful when an image is not available directly in our online servers - for instance, old versions of a specific image - or when your company network does not allow the board to access our online servers.
How to install these images
To install these images, you need to use the Toradex Easy Installer, which comes pre-installed on Toradex modules. You can also load it to your module if you have it already flashed with another image. To load Toradex Easy Installer to your module, please download it and follow the steps to load it. To make the images available to Toradex Easy Installer, check the Provide OS Images section.
Test Results
All images provided by Toradex are tested. To see the test results for each image, see the Toradex Software Test Results page.

Torizon OS Quarterly Releases
Quarterly releases are production releases. They are good for development but also for deployment on the field. They get replaced with a newer quarterly every 3 months.

Torizon OS Monthly Releases
Monthly releases are pre-production releases. They are good for development as you keep up-to-date with the latest features and bugfixes.
caution
The images with the PREEMPT_RT patch haven't been fully validated by Toradex. We have only run smoke tests and cyclictest to make sure that the system boots properly and the PREEMPT_RT patches are working on idle conditions.

Torizon OS Nightly and Experimental Releases
Nightly releases are pre-production releases without testing, and may not boot. Typically they are only used in development to focus on a feature or bug fix coming up in a monthly release.
