Ubuntu and Debian Support

Torizon Connector is an installation app that simplifies the installation of the Torizon software stack — including Torizon OS components and dependencies — on Debian-based host systems. It enables developers to set up and manage the Torizon environment from familiar apt-based environments.

How to Get Started

  1. On a device running Ubuntu or Debian, run the following command to install the necessary packages:
    $ sudo sh -c "$(curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/torizon/torizon-plugin-installer/main/install-torizon-connector.sh)"
  2. At the end of the process, go to https://pair.torizon.io and enter the provisioning code to connect your device to the Torizon Cloud.
  3. Refer to the Remote Access article to learn how to access your device remotely over SSH through the Torizon Cloud. Check the Torizon Cloud documentation for additional features.
