Iris Carrier Board Mechanical Models​

Compatible Products​


[1] Capacitive Touch Adapter is required for Iris V1.1A and V1.1B, but is not required for V2.0 onwards
[2] The LVDS cable that comes with the [Capacitive Touch Display 10.1" LVDS](/hardware/accessories/displays/capacitive-touch-display-101inch-lvds) is only compatible with Iris V2.0 onward. The LVDS signal on Iris is provided through an RGB to LVDS transmitter.

Product Number (PID8) Format​

The format of the 8-digits Product Number (PID8) is the following:

The below table describes the structure of the Product Number (PID8):

FieldDescription
PPPP4-digits number, indicating the Product Configuration (PID4) that describes the key properties of the product (e.g. Product Group, RAM capacity, etc.)
VV2-digits number, indicating the Major and Minor Version (in that order)
AA2-digits number, indicating the Assembly Variant

We plan the following changes but will issue an official PCN with all details once we manufactured prototypes and did a complete validation:
  • Resolve USB_C_DET backfeeding issue: Change R115 from 560R to 10k and R116 from 1k to 10k
  • Resolve RS232 transceiver backfeeding issue: Change TI SN65C3243 with TI MAX3243IDBR
  • Resolve USB power switching backfeeding: Change R156 with R157
The version change from V2.0A to V2.0B includes bug-fixes only, we don't expect any impact on customers as there is no change in form-fit-function.
