Toradex Supported
FreeRTOS
FreeRTOS is a popular free real-time operating system widely used with microcontrollers and small microprocessors. FreeRTOS is lightweight and open-source. In addition to real-time applications, FreeRTOS is also suitable for low power, always-on and extremely fast boot applications.

Zephyr RTOS
Zephyr is a real-time operating system (RTOS) designed for microcontrollers, including those integrated within Toradex System on Modules (SoMs). As a Linux Foundation project, Zephyr is gaining significant traction due to its versatility and robust support. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise / Windows 11 IoT Enterprise
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Windows 11 IoT are available for selected i.MX8 and i.MX9-based systems from Toradex. Windows 10 and 11 allow devices to be integrated into Windows environments easily. Alternatively, Torizon offers many of the advantages of a Linux system while enabling a technology stack and developer environment familiar to Windows developers, such as .NET, Visual Studio Code, Azure IoT integration, and more.

Embedded Configurable Operating System (eCos) is an open-source, free, and real-time operating system intended for embedded applications that has real-time needs and small memory. It can be customized based on the application requirements.

INTEGRITY
Green Hills INTEGRITY RTOS offers high reliability, security and performance. The RTOS uses hardware partitioning to isolate embedded applications.
