u-Blox MAYA-W160 Wi-Fi & Bluetooth module

Introduction​

The MAYA-W1 is a Wi-Fi & Bluetooth module based on U-Blox MAYA family form factor. The device is based on the NXP IW416 chipset and implements the same reference design.

Radio Frequency Calibration Data​

The MAYA-W160 has been calibrated before shipment, and the data has been recorded in the module's OTP memory. That way, it's not necessary to set any calibration data when using it.

  • Single stream 802.11n with 20 and 40 MHz channel width

  • Dynamic frequency selection (radar detection)
  • Security: WPA3, WPA2, WPA2 and WPA mixed mode
  • Supports up to eight stations in AP mode
  • Supports simultaneous station, access point and P2P modes

Bluetooth features​

  • Bluetooth 5.2 (Bluetooth BR/EDR and Bluetooth low energy)
  • PCM/I2S audio interfaces
  • High-speed UART host interface with standard HCI transport layer
